Directions

  1. Remove the sepals from the okra and lightly massage with salt. Next boil, cool in cold water, remove and cut into small pieces.
  2. Cut the myoga into small, bite-size pieces.
  3. Boil the nameko mushrooms in (A). Add in (1) and boil for a short time. Turn off the heat.
  4. Place the bottom of the pot in ice water to cool off. Pour in a bowl and sprinkle on the myoga.

Insert a knife blade between the stem and the pod and then cut all around to remove the calyx.
