Directions

  1. Chop the zucchini into 3 - 4 mm (1/4 in.) thick rounds. Boil in lightly salted water (salt not included in recipe ingredients).
  2. Diagonally slice the Japanese long onion into 3 - 4 cm (1 in.)lengths.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a fry pan and cook the pork.
  4. Turn the heat to low, add and mix in the tobanjan paste.
  5. When the mixture becomes fragrant, add in first (2) then (1), saute together and adjust the taste with the soy sauce and sugar.

Remove the roots of the Japanese long onion. Then thinly slice up diagonally from end to end.
