400 g (about 14 oz.)

a dash

red leaf lettuce

as needed

Directions

  1. Place the pork in a deep pot, add in plenty of water, turn on the heat and once boiling, cover with a lid placed slightly off to the side to allow steam to escape. Boil over low heat for 40 minutes to 1 hour (adding additional water if it boils down).
  2. Remove the pork and dry off. Marinate in a lidded container filled with the soy sauce for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Cut into easy-to-eat slices, then place on a plate lined with red leaf lettuce , and a side of mustard paste.
