(C)

200 g (about 7 oz.)

200 ml (6.8 fl. oz.)

  • A drop lid is a round lid smaller than the diameter of the pan or pot that floats on top of the liquid while simmering foods. It ensures the even distribution of heat to cook ingredients evenly and quickly. One can be made using aluminum foil or parchment paper.

Directions

  1. Place the cabbage leaves on a heat-safe plate, while alternating the direction of the core portions. Wrap with plastic or cover with a lid before heating in a microwave (600W) for 3 minutes. Allow to cool then slice away the hard core portions.
  2. In order, add in and mix together the ground meat, (A) and (B), then divide into 4 equal portions and wrap with (1). Cut the width of the bacon slices in half vertically and wrap around the rolls.
  3. Place (2) in a small heavy saucepan with the roll ends facing down. Add in (C) and bring to a boil, then cook covered with a drop lid* for 15 to 20 minutes. Adjust the flavor with soy sauce, then enjoy.
