Directions

Diagonally slice the carrot with a slicer or kitchen knife into thin pieces, then julienne and place into a bowl.

Add and mix in (A), then set aside for 10 minutes to allow the flavor to soak in.

Roughly chop up the walnuts, and slice the olives into 2 mm (1/8 in.) rounds.

Add (3) to (2), combine all together, and then serve.

Carrots - matchstick juliennes
Cut a peeled carrot into 4 to 5 cm (about 2 in.) pieces lengthwise, and slice each piece into 3 mm (0.1 in.) wide planks, gradually sliding and stacking the slices. Lastly julienne these into 3 mm (0.1 in.) width thin sticks.
