Directions

  1. Peel the carrot and cut into bite-size pieces. Without peeling, half or quarter the turnips. De-string the green beans and cut into halves if very long.
  2. Mix together (A).
  3. Boil water in a large pot, add in a dash of salt, then boil (1) ingredients in the order of carrots, turnips, then green beans. Once each can be easily pierced with a toothpick, drain in a colander. Be careful not to overboil.
  4. Once cooled, colorfully arrange the vegetables on a plate, pour on (2) and enjoy while still warm.
