With almonds and Japanese-style pickled shallots.

100 g (3.5 oz.)

20 g (0.7 oz.)

10 g (0.4 oz.)


  1. Toast the sliced almonds until fragrant, roughly chop up half and finely chop up the other half. Chop up the pickled shallots as well.
  2. Mash and spread the cream cheese to soften, add in the roughly chopped almonds and pickled shallots (1) and the soy sauce, then mix all together.
  3. Divide (2) into 4 portions, then use plastic wrap or wax / parchment paper to form each portion into a ball and place into a refrigerator to chill. Remove from the wrap or paper and sprinkle the finely chopped almonds over the entire surface of each ball.
