(A)Batter

50 g (1.8 oz.)

1/6 tsp

50 ml (1.7 fl. oz.)

(B)Tentsuyu (Tempura Dipping Sauce)

100 ml (3.4 fl. oz.)

1 & 1/2 Tbsp

  • Hon Mirin contains alcohol.
    For individuals unable to consume alcohol, we recommend that you either do not use Hon Mirin or that you boil off the alcohol content prior to use (heated at boiling temperatures for 1 to 1.5 minutes).

Directions

  1. Cut the all the vegetables into edible size pieces. Lightly cover in starch.
  2. Mix (A) in a bowl. Dunk (1) and fry in 170 ℃ (338 F ) deep-frying oil.
  3. Mix (B) together and serve as the dipping sauce.

Bell peppers - removing seeds

Cut the bell pepper in half, fold the stem and then remove the seeds with your fingers. This is an easier and less wasteful method than using a knife.
