chorizo or sausage of choice

30 g (1.1 oz.)

white rice

208 g (7.3 oz.)

1/10 bulb

5 cm (2 in.)

Directions

  1. Wash the rice and then place in a colander to drain.
  2. Cut the chicken into 1 cm (0.4 in.) cubes and the bacon into 5 mm (0.2 in.) cubes. Slice the chorizo into 5 mm (0.2 in.) thick rounds.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a fry pan over medium heat, then stir-fry (2). Once the chicken browns, add in and stir-fry the onion, celery, carrot and green pepper. Add in the rice from (1) and stir-fry all together. Turn off the heat and allow to cool.
  4. Place (3) into a rice cooker, then add and mix in 250 ml (8.5 fl. oz.) of water and (A). Cook as usual. If a rice cooker is not available, use a pot for this step. When the rice has finished cooking, add and mix in the corn.
