Directions

  1. Lightly grill the surface of the of the tuna slices. Dip in ice water, quickly remove and dry. Cut into 7-8 mm (1/3 in.) pieces and arrange on a plate. Cool in a refrigerator.
  2. Prepare the condiments. Cut the green spring onion into small bite-size pieces. Diagonally, thinly slice the long green onion and soak in water. Cut the ginger into long, thin strips and soak in water. Finely chop the myoga. Remove all ingredients soaking in water and dry well.
  3. Mix together (A), forming the dipping sauce.
  4. Lightly mix (2), and place on top of (1). Dress with the dipping sauce and enjoy.

Cooking Basics

Japanese long onion - thinly sliced

Remove the roots of the Japanese long onion. Then thinly slice up diagonally from end to end.


Ginger - julienned

Peel the skin of the ginger, and cut thinly, gradually sliding and stacking the slices. Then thinly slice from end to end.
