Stewed Hijiki Seaweed and Pork Belly

50 g (1-3/4 oz.)

20 g (1/2 oz.)

70 ml (2.4 fl. oz.)


  1. Rehydrate the dry hijiki seaweed in water, and drain in a colander.
  2. Cut the pork into 1 cm (1/2 in.) strips. Cut the carrot into thick, rectangular pieces.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in a fry pan, and quickly saute (2). Add (1), the soybeans and (A), cover with a lid, then cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat when the broth mixture is almost boiled down.
