Soak the fu in (A) for about 10 minutes.

Melt the butter in a fry pan, squeeze excess moisture from the fu, add to (1), cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Flip over and cook for a further 5 minutes.

Arrange on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
