Cut the onion in half, remove the core, and slice it into 1cm (0.4 in.). Quarter the carrots. Trim the ends of the green beans. Cut the potatoes in half. Grate the garlic. Cut the pork slices in half and season with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a pot over medium, then add the pork. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip it over and cook for 1 more minute.

Add the onions. Lay the meat on top of the onions. Add A.

Add the potatoes, carrots, kidney beans, green beans, and thyme. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil over high heat.

Once it boils, reduce the heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
If finishing in the oven: After bringing the pot to a boil on the stove, cover with a lid and transfer to a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F). Broil for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
