Directions

  1. Remove the innards and seeds from the winter melon, peel away skin. Divide into 7-8 mm (1/2 inch) thick edible pieces.
  2. Cut pork into edible pieces, pour on (A) and let soak.
  3. Fry the ginger and garlic in sesame seed oil, when a good aroma springs out add the pork and continue to fry. Add in winter melon and stir. Sprinkle on (B). After everything has started to become transparent, pour in soy sauce in a circular fashion. Finish by sprinkling in pepper.

Ginger - mincing

Remove the skin of the ginger and thinly slice, gradually sliding and stacking the slices. Then mince the ginger into fine pieces, and slice again finely at right angles.


Garlic - thinly sliced

Cut the garlic clove with the skin removed vertically in two. Then use the heel of the knife to remove the core and thinly slice.
