Directions

  1. Cut the mizuna into 5 cm (2 in) lengths.
  2. Cut the cucumber and bell pepper into thin strips, soak in ice water for a few minutes, drain and dry.
  3. Boil the bean sprouts in lightly salted water. Drain and and leave to cool.
  4. Boil some water, pour in (A) and boil the pork.
  5. Mix together (B) forming the dressing. Add in 1 tbsp from (4) and stir well.
  6. Mix half of (5) with the pork.
  7. Pile (1), (2) and (3) on a plate, pour (6) on top followed by the remaining half of the dressing.

Cooking Basics

Bell peppers - removing seeds

Cut the bell pepper in half, fold the stem and then remove the seeds with your fingers. This is an easier and less wasteful method than using a knife.
