Douse the fried tofu with boiling water to remove some of the oil, cut in half, then into 1 cm (1/2 in) widths.

Quickly boil the komatsuna, then cut into 4 cm (1.5 in) lengths.

Heat the sesame oil in a pan, add and fry the tofu. Pour in 1/2 cup of water and (A) and simmer for 10 minutes.
