  1. Boil lightly salted water, then add in the komatsuna. Once soft, place in ice water, remove and dry.
  2. Cut the komatsu into 1 cm (1/2 in) lengths from the edge and dry once again.
  3. Mash the sesame seeds in a bowl about half way, add in (A) and mix well.
  4. Add the komatsuna to (3) and mix well before serving.
