Directions
- Place the buckwheat flour into a bowl and quickly knead while adding 200 ml (6.8 fl. oz.) of hot water. When prepared properly the mixture should have a similar consistency to miso paste. Adjust the added hot water accordingly.
- Boil water in a pot, use a spoon to drop bite-size balls of (1) into the boiling water (using a spoon will make forming balls easier).
- Scoop up balls that float to the surface and place these into a colander that has been lightly wet with water.
- Place (A) into a pot, bring to a boil, add in the potato starch and an equal amount of water to thicken the sauce.
- Serve the buckwheat dumplings on plates with as much of the sweet sauce (4), adzuki beans and roasted soybean powder as desired.
