Directions

  1. Slice open one long end of the thin deep-fried tofu open, to form pouches. Julienne the removed portion. Finely chop up the green onion. Grate both the ginger and daikon radish.
  2. Combine the julienned thin deep-fried tofu, green onions, dried bonito flakes and sardines with the fermented soybeans. Stuff the mixture into the pouches (1).
  3. Heat up a fry pan, place (2) inside and cook both sides to golden while pressing down with a lid or such.
  4. Cut into easy-to-eat portions, serve onto plates garnished with the daikon radish and ginger and sprinkle on some soy sauce.
