Spread the vegetable oil in a fry pan over low heat and arrange the rice cakes inside. Cook on both sides until the rice cakes are softened and light golden brown on both sides. Add in and cover the rice cakes with soy sauce to finish and then wrap in yakinori seaweed cut into rectangles.
