Cut the pork into 4 cm (1.6 in.) widths and chop the hakusai at a 45 degree angle into large pieces. Remove hard bottoms from the shiitake mushrooms, then quarter.

Bring (A) to a boil in a fry pan, add in (1) and cover with a lid. Once boiling, allow to simmer for about 10 minutes on low.
