Sprinkle pepper onto the pork, then wrap around the hakusai.
Spread the olive oil onto the bottom of a large fry pan, add in (1) and cook over medium heat until browned on all sides. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes over low heat, then flip over and steam-fry for an additional 5 minutes.
Turn the heat to medium, add in the soy sauce and mirin, coat all ingredients and slice up once cooled.
