Isobe yaki are traditional grilled mochi (rice cakes) from Japan, which are eaten as a snack or side dish. Brush toasted mochi with Kikkoman Soy Sauce and wrap in nori seaweed and enjoy the aromatic soy sauce flavor.

  1. Spread the vegetable oil in a fry pan over low heat and arrange the rice cakes inside. Cook on both sides until the rice cakes are softened and light golden brown on both sides. Add in and cover the rice cakes with soy sauce to finish and then wrap in nori seaweed cut into rectangles to enjoy.
