Directions

  1. Cut the pork into bite-size pieces, pre-season with (A).
  2. Chop the Chinese chives into 4 to 5 cm (1.6 to 2 in.) lengths.
  3. Blot the atsu-age with kitchen towel, cut in half lengthwise and then cut into 1 cm (0.4 in.) widths.
  4. Heat the sesame oil over medium flame in a frypan, saute (1) with Kikkoman Soy Sauce, and simultaneously cook (3) in available frypan space. When it becomes golden on one-side turn over.
  5. Once the pork is thoroughly cooked sprinkle on Kikkoman Soy Sauce and Kikkoman Manjo Aji-Mirin, add (2), quickly saute and place on a plate to serve.

Peel the skin of the ginger, and cut thinly, gradually sliding and stacking the slices. Then thinly slice from end to end.
